We're talking about the Suunto X10 Gps Wristwatch; it has all the same capabilities as any other GPS except this one is especially made for the outdoor adventurer.  The X10 has the ability to map out terrains and deep forests along with warning alerts to possible hazards such as cliffs, open water and ditches all to help you stay on track.

How does this work? Well all we can say is that this amazing device locates your exact latitude and longitude on the terrain your standing on to help you get to your destination safely. Like any typical GPS you can enter routes, change locations, save destinations and reroute yourself back to the beginning of your home location. The X10 has the capacity to store 50 routes, 500 way points and is compatible with with certain maps soft wares such as Google maps. Other features of this wristwatch include an altimeter, barometer, thermometer, compass and stopwatch. The watch itself is definitely made for the outdoors man in mind; with a water resistant design and can function in extreme temperatures.

At a price tag of about $600, the Suunto's X10 GPS is not far off from its larger GPS counterparts but with a bounty of features and already garnering the award of "Best of Adventure Gear" of 2009 and "World's Smallest GPS", Suunto is definitely on the right track of the GPS forefront and tracking their success starts with making sure you get to your destination safely.
