What to do about all those VHS tapes of home movies stacked up to the ceiling? Well look no further, Roxio’s hardware and software solution will bring your old analog memories into the digital age.

Just in time for the holidays, this week Roxio has announced the release of an all on one hardware/software solution for capturing analog signals to DVD. While intended as a video capture device, with two RCA audio inputs you can also digitize LP’s, CD’s and cassettes and create audio files playable in your portable media player. The hardware is a USB 2.0 device with RCA and S-video inputs allowing to you to capture in a variety signals. The coupled software is meant to be as easy as putting toast in a toaster and geared towards the true beginner. Although the title of the product is “Easy VHS to DVD”, don’t be fooled; you can also output audio and video to a variety of mobile devices includingPods, iPhones, and PSP's and video to be used on the internet. The product also includes a DVD authoring program which includes templates, motion menues, animated buttons and whole lot more to give you a truly personalized introduction to your videos. The software also allows simple editing, transitions and title if you want to cut out bad footage in between takes or better yet, take out the WHOLE section of your mother-in-law…ok we won’t get into that.

At a price of $59.99 you don’t need an expensive capturing/editing system along with a competent user to archive your precious moments.
